looks like this week is going to be all about buildings and living spaces.
my friend just purchased a cozy brick home with wooden floors (my favorite!), big windows, and a little balcony on the top floor. it is a perfect place.
have you heard of ai weiwei--the artist who helped design the bird's nest in beijing? he talks about the extension of beauty as a form of function here.

That space pictured is amazing. I just brought a couple plants in my house and how it makes such a difference.
