hi there - i just discovered your blog, i love it. those images of your grandparents' home are amazing. these photos by aino kannisto remind me of work by a swiss photographer annelies strba - i found a book of hers called "shades of time" in my college library years ago and fell in love with it, the work has a very similar look and feel, but i think is a documentation of her daughters from 1974 to 1996. here's a link to a slideshow of it, in case you're interested... http://strba.ch/diashow/
